Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Cass County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
