Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Hale County, Texas. The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
