Now hiring: we are hiring a security guard in Storey County, Nevada. On a typical shift you will monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Alert, disciplined and punctual Six days a week, one day off.
