Die-casting operator • Merrick County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Merrick County, Nebraska. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
