Grill cook — Wyandotte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a grill cook in Wyandotte County, Kansas. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets The role involves: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
