Restoration bricklayer • Bonner County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Bonner County, Idaho. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
