Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor We offer $240 per day plus benefits.
