Construction helper • Caroline County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Caroline County, Virginia. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
