Great opportunity: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Jefferson County, Oregon. The job is at a haulage company. On the job you will handle: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
