Metal caster — Okobo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Okobo, Akwa Ibom State. The job is on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
