Baker — Edgar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Edgar County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Part-time with flexible hours.
