Backhoe operator — Cumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Cumberland County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter We offer $130 per day plus benefits.
