Shakeout operator — St. Clair County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in St. Clair County, Alabama. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
