Semi-automatic welder — Putnam County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Putnam County, Florida. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
