Rough terrain crane operator • Freestone County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Freestone County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
