Punch press operator — Saint Mary's County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Full-time, day shift.
