You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
