Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Neosho County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
