Elevator repair technician — Pinellas County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Pinellas County, Florida. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
