Commis chef — Mississippi County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commis chef in Mississippi County, Arkansas. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays You will prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
