Immediate opening: marble polisher (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble polisher in Calhoun County, Alabama. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Requirements: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone On a typical shift you will grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
