Powder coating technician — Bennington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Bennington County, Vermont. You will be based on an industrial coating line. Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Ideal candidate: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
