Meat trimmer — LaSalle Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
