Shuttering fixer • Edgar County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Edgar County, Illinois. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. The role involves: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
