Now hiring: we are hiring a roofer in Newton County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Your main tasks: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Insulate and ventilate the roof void At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
