Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Lee County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
