Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Marion County, Georgia. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
