Head baker — Oke Ero

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Oke Ero, Kwara State. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Overtime paid at a premium rate.
