Blocklayer — Edmunds County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Edmunds County, South Dakota. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
