Tower crane operator • Caledonia County, Vermont

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Six days a week, one day off.
