Glass fitter — Vanderburgh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass fitter in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will work in a mirror and glass showroom. Your main tasks: • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
