Vacancy available: building site helper (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Jefferson County, Florida. You will work on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
