Restoration bricklayer — Lokoja

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Lokoja, Kogi State. You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
