Join our team: restoration bricklayer (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in DeKalb County, Tennessee. You will work on a busy housing site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
