Immediate opening: garment presser (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Barren County, Kentucky. You will work in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
