360 excavator operator — Monroe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Monroe County, Kentucky. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
