Gas meter installer — Daura

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Daura, Katsina State. Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
