Heavy equipment operator — Pottawatomie County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $11,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
