Offshore rigger — Sherman County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sherman County, Texas. Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 2+ years on the tools preferred.
