Blocklayer — Huntington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Huntington County, Indiana. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Rotating shifts.
