Gtaw welder — Ferry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ferry County, Washington. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
