Offshore rigger wanted in Jibia

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Jibia, Katsina State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time, day shift.
