Finishing presser — Meade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Meade County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
