Now hiring: we are hiring a counter butcher in Duval County, Florida. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case.
