Die-casting operator • Norfolk, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Norfolk, England. You will work on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £3,050 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
