Immediate opening: crane operator (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Hall County, Nebraska. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
