Furnace operator — Todd County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Todd County, Kentucky. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
