Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Kent County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Season and marinate meat on request • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 4+ years on the tools preferred.
