The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills ₦80,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
