Commis chef — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
